IT Operations Engineer - Azure & DevOps (Remote - EU)

As an IT Operations Engineer specializing in Azure and DevOps, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-performing systems. You will design and implement CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, monitor system health, and troubleshoot issues across environments. Accountabilities:

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Designing and implementing Azure YAML pipelines for CI/CD automation.
• Performing proactive system maintenance and lifecycle management to ensure operational excellence.
• Developing and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems for performance and reliability.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support deployments and troubleshoot issues.
• Applying Agile methodologies to deliver iterative, high-quality solutions.
• Providing advanced troubleshooting, debugging, and operational support across environments.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

• 5–10 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Azure YAML pipelines.
• Strong programming and scripting skills, including experience with Linux, Java, and Ansible.
• Expertise in monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system health.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

Preferred / Nice to Have:

• Experience with Bicep for Azure resource deployment.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Apache Cassandra and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and infrastructure automation best practices.
