This role provides leadership and oversight for large-scale Industrial Control Systems (ICS) programs supporting critical fuel handling operations worldwide. The position manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction across diverse locations. You will oversee a large team, monitor program finances including P&L responsibilities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong strategic and operational management, including mentoring staff, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. This position combines remote work flexibility with occasional travel, offering the opportunity to influence program outcomes and support organizational growth. Ideal candidates are experienced leaders with proven multi-site program management, technical expertise in fuel handling systems, and a track record of achieving operational excellence.
Accountabilities:
• Lead and manage multiple ICS projects (AFHE, HFAM, AFSI) ensuring all contract deliverables, schedules, and maintenance requirements are met.
• Supervise over 50 employees across 30+ locations worldwide, promoting collaboration and high performance.
• Oversee program P&L of $30M+, achieving revenue and operating income targets.
• Develop new business opportunities and ensure growth objectives are met.
• Maintain program KPIs for delivery, quality, safety, cost, and schedule.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships with clear and consistent communication.
• Ensure compliance with US Government regulations and internal standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost control initiatives to enhance program efficiency.
• Implement employee engagement and recognition programs, including surveys, townhalls, and awards.
• Promote a Zero Harm safety culture with 100% achievement of leading indicators.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 10 years of program/project management experience, including P&L responsibilities, quality, safety, and team leadership.
• US Citizen.
- 10+ years of direct multi-site operations management experience.
• 10+ years of direct fuel handling experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage large, dispersed teams.
• Proven ability to drive program growth, meet contract requirements, and ensure operational excellence.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as required.
• Preferred: DLA or government experience, Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
