This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Enterprise Architect / Systems Architect in the United States.
In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level architecture solutions, providing strategic guidance to ensure alignment between business objectives and technology capabilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, compliant, and efficient systems, producing detailed architectural models, data analyses, and actionable recommendations. Your work will directly influence modernization initiatives, cloud adoption, and DevSecOps practices across complex enterprise environments. This role offers the opportunity to shape IT strategy, enhance operational efficiency, and drive impactful technology transformation in a fast-paced, mission-focused setting. You will operate at the intersection of business and technology, contributing to compliance, capability analysis, and enterprise-wide architectural decision-making.
Accountabilities
- Perform architecture analysis and generate models, diagrams, and detailed reports for enterprise systems and installation management capabilities.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and solution options in line with business and IT strategy frameworks.
- Assist in drafting technical narratives, business analysis products, and transformation initiative documentation.
- Provide guidance on modernization, cloud migration, and implementation of DevSecOps practices.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders to achieve strategic IT objectives.
- Ensure all deliverables, including analytical reports and architectural diagrams, contribute to enterprise optimization and compliance goals.
- Represent architectural interests in meetings and provide on-site support for projects, reviews, and special initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture, capability analysis, and DoDAF modeling.
- Public Trust Clearance (current or previously held).
- Proficiency in capability mapping, data analysis, and architecture modeling tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to provide hands-on support in cross-functional and government team settings.
- Expertise in DoDAF architecture and standards is preferred.
- Adaptable to shifting priorities and capable of contributing to everyday operational tasks, including meeting coordination and reporting.
