As a Cloud Security Architect, you will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping enterprise clients design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures. You’ll work at the intersection of technology, cybersecurity, and customer success — leading pre-sales engagements, crafting tailored cloud security solutions, and ensuring seamless deployment across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Your expertise will guide organizations in protecting workloads, applications, and identities while strengthening their overall cloud resilience. This is a dynamic role for a seasoned professional eager to influence strategy, drive innovation, and enable customers to thrive in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
Accountabilities:
- Lead technical engagements with customers and partners, demonstrating advanced cloud security capabilities.
- Design and present cloud security reference architectures integrating native controls and partner solutions.
- Translate complex business and compliance requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
- Drive proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilots, ensuring alignment with customer success criteria.
- Maintain deep technical knowledge across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including workload protection, container security, and identity management.
- Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to shape go-to-market strategies and improve solution offerings.
- Deliver enablement sessions, workshops, and public presentations to share cloud security best practices.
- Provide field feedback to influence product development and customer experience enhancements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud security, pre-sales engineering, or solutions architecture.
- At least 2 years of hands-on work in incident detection, response, or cloud SOC operations.
- Strong technical expertise across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
- Deep knowledge of cloud networking, firewalls, intrusion detection, IAM, and container security.
- Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, or CloudFormation for automation and scripting.
- Proven success leading POCs or technical evaluations in enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.
- Preferred certifications: AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, CISSP, or CCSP.
- Willingness to travel across the region (approximately 25–35%).
