We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable cloud solutions for enterprise environments. In this role, you will architect cloud infrastructures that meet compliance requirements, enhance operational agility, and support business transformation. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical architectures while providing guidance on best practices for governance, security, and performance. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Azure services, drive innovation in cloud deployments, and contribute to high-impact projects across a variety of industries. You will also support migration strategies, optimize cloud operations, and ensure solutions are cost-effective, reliable, and secure.
Accountabilities
- Architect and design Azure environments in alignment with compliance frameworks such as SOC2 and FedRAMP.
- Plan and implement landing zones, networking, identity, and security configurations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, secure cloud solutions.
- Provide guidance on Azure governance, resource organization, and best practices.
- Support migration strategies, performance optimization, and operational excellence.
- Assist in implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for cloud environments.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity).
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, cost optimization, and compliance-driven architectures.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud environments with a focus on reliability and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with DevOps culture, CI/CD concepts, and automation frameworks.
- Preferred: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- Preferred: Experience with hybrid cloud or government cloud environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
