We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Staff Engineer with expertise in Python Fullstack development to contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of digital products and services. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, focusing on ReactJS and PostgreSQL technologies. You will play a key role in defining application architecture, ensuring security, performance, and maintainability while supporting rapid application development. Accountabilities
As an Associate Staff Engineer, you will:
- Write, review, and maintain high-quality Python and ReactJS code for web applications.
- Understand client business use cases and technical requirements, translating them into effective technical designs and solutions.
- Define and implement architecture, frameworks, and patterns that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct design reviews, identify optimal solutions, and ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Perform proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate design decisions and technology choices.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve defects, ensuring application performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in Python Fullstack development with a strong focus on ReactJS and PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in web frameworks such as FastAPI or Django.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, containerization tools (Docker), and GitHub for version control.
- Familiarity with rapid application development, application security best practices, and infrastructure setup.
- Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) for project management and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
