This entry-level role is ideal for early-career professionals or recent graduates looking to build hands-on experience across cloud operations, IT support, and security. You will contribute to maintaining a secure, cloud-based infrastructure while assisting colleagues with technical issues and supporting development pipelines. With mentorship and structured guidance, you will gain exposure to Azure services, CI/CD operations, infrastructure-as-code, and IT endpoint management. Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting routine cloud operations and health monitoring across Azure services, including App Services, Storage, Key Vault, and PostgreSQL.
- Assisting with CI/CD pipeline operations, reviewing pull requests, and collaborating with developers under guidance.
- Learning to create and maintain infrastructure using Bicep templates and contributing to operational improvement efforts.
- Providing first-line IT support for laptops, operating systems, and productivity tools in a mixed-device environment.
- Assisting with device setup, imaging, patching, and endpoint security using Intune and other management tools.
- Supporting security operations, including access control, MFA, RBAC, and compliance readiness.
- Documenting processes, troubleshooting issues, and escalating technical problems as appropriate.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (e.g., internships, certifications, personal projects).
- Curiosity, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn across cloud and IT operations.
- Familiarity with major operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and basic cloud concepts, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Exposure to scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and willingness to learn infrastructure-as-code (Bicep).
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Preferred: familiarity with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Exchange Online, Intune), IAM concepts (Azure AD, RBAC, conditional access), security best practices, or certifications like CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
