United States onlyJGM is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator with 10–15 years of industrial construction experience to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will be adept at estimating complex projects involving structural steel fabrication, erection, equipment setting, and piping, with a proven ability to manage project estimates up to $50 million.
Requirements
- Develop detailed cost estimates for industrial construction projects, from concept to final proposal.
- Analyze project documentation (drawings, specifications, RFIs) to identify scope, risks, and opportunities for value engineering.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and pricing for structural steel fabrication, erection, equipment setting, and piping.
- Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate pricing from subcontractors and vendors across various trades (concrete/civil, electrical, etc.).
- Collaborate with project management, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure accurate scoping and budgeting.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and present estimates to leadership and clients.
- Identify cost-saving measures and propose alternative solutions to meet client needs.
- Stay current on industry trends, material costs, and construction best practices.
- Ensure estimates align with company goals and profitability targets.
