Devops Engineer - FULL REMOTE (ITALY)

Tasks

We are looking for a motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both on-premises and cloud environments, strong knowledge of infrastructure automation, and a solid understanding of system administration and networking. This role will involve designing, deploying, and maintaining reliable and scalable systems, as well as collaborating closely with development teams to ensure smooth delivery of applications.

• Manage and deploy infrastructure in on-premises and cloud environments.
• Implement and maintain containerized applications using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
• Set up, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Manage source code and versioning with GitHub.
• Develop and maintain scripts using at least one programming language (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Perform SQL CRUD operations and maintain database systems.
• Administer Linux systems and troubleshoot system/process/network issues.
• Configure and manage web servers such as Apache and NGINX, including SSL setup.
• Manage build and dependency tools like Maven.
• Monitor system performance, processes, and security.
• Collaborate with teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.

Requirements

• English proficiency B1 or higher.
• Solid experience with Linux administration and networking concepts.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub/GitHub Actions, Ansible.
• Experience with at least one programming language.
• SQL knowledge (CRUD operations).
• Understanding of web servers (Apache/Nginx) and SSL certificates.
• Familiarity with Maven and Linux processes.
