Iron Mountain’s Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) division is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Senior Global Events Professional to lead our event strategy and execution. This is a high-impact individual contributor role responsible for elevating our brand presence at premier industry conferences and proprietary events worldwide.

You will be the "architect" of our event presence—managing everything from high-level strategic alignment with business goals to the fine-grained logistics of booth shipping and lead capture. The ideal candidate is a master project manager who can pivot seamlessly between creative strategy, communications, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Strategy & Planning:Define and execute a comprehensive global events roadmap that supports ALM’s growth objectives, brand awareness, thought leadership, and lead generation targets.

  • End-to-End Execution:Lead all phases of event management, including event selection, contract negotiation, vendor management, booth design, logistics, pre-event marketing, on-site execution, and post-event communications and analysis.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Act as the central hub for ALM events, coordinating across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations to ensure messaging is aligned and stakeholders are prepared.

  • Budget Management: Own the global events budget, ensuring every dollar is optimized for maximum ROI and reporting regularly on spend and performance.

  • Communications:Craft compelling event-related content, including internal briefings, promotional emails, and pre/post-show communications for attendees and staff.

  • Lead Management:Partner with Demand Generation teams to ensure seamless lead flow from the event floor into our CRM (Salesforce).

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience:2+ years of experience in corporate event management, preferably within a global B2B or technology environment.

  • Project Management Mastery:Exceptional organizational skills, excelling in attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple complex timelines simultaneously.

  • Communication Skills:Professional-grade written and verbal communication to engage internal stakeholders as well as customers.

  • Independence:You are a self-starter who thrives in an environment where you "own" the function without requiring a team of direct reports.

  • Global Mindset:Experience navigating international shipping, customs, and cultural nuances of global event execution, with the support of vetted partners.

  • Ability to travel 30–35%, including domestic and international trips.

  • Flexibility to work across various time zones as needed for global event coordination.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.

What We Offer (Benefits):

  • Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with experience.

  • Comprehensive health, wellness, and retirement plans.

  • Flexible work options to support work–life balance.

  • Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth
