Field Data Collector - Detroit, MI

Short-term, part-time, flexible working schedule

Join our team as a Field Data Collector! In this role, you will conduct parking data collection surveys at various locations within the city, taking photos and entering notes using the mobile app. Your observations will be used to test and improve parking data. The work will be carried out within the city of Detroit, MI, United States. Payment is 15$-25$ per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Collect all relevant parking data at a test site, both curbside and adjacent parking lots, and submit data through the mobile application
• Take photos of all unique parking signs and any other indicators on the block/lot that relate to parking
• Count unoccupied on-street parking spaces on each selected block
• Notate data errors in the mobile application when observed

Requirements

• Having a recent and capable smartphone model with a data plan
• Attention to the details
• Experience in working with maps, geospatial data will be a plus
• Ability to walk for extended periods
