The UAS Pilot - T & D Inspections is responsible for conducting powerline inspection projects for customers in North America and representing Infravision products and values. This is a field based position that will require regular travel to operate in remote sites.
Requirements
- Certification as a Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC), FAA Part 107
- Proven experience operating unmanned aircraft, including pre-flight planning, flight execution, and data capture operations.
- Strong understanding of UAS technology, including hardware (e.g., motors, sensors, cameras) and software (e.g., flight control systems, data analysis platforms).
- Experience with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of UAS systems and components.
- Familiarity with airspace regulations, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to lead, manage, mentor and train UAS pilots and supporting team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
