Bits of your job:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and applications

• Implement server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support various frontend and mobile applications

• Integrate third-party APIs and services, ensuring seamless communication between systems

• Design and maintain database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval

• Manage database performance, security, and data integrity across different environments

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices

• Implement secure coding practices to protect against common vulnerabilities

• Identify and resolve technical issues in production and development environments

• Work closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies

Requirements

Key expectations:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages

• Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and web services

• Experience with relational databases, including database schema design and query optimization

• Proficiency in using Git for version control, including branching, merging, and pull requests

• Experience in writing and running unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and resolve issues efficiently

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical team members

• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements and environments

• Demonstrate fluency in both English and Lithuanian, aligning with team expectations
