Job Role: Marketing Specialist
Compensation range: $1,500 - $2,000 AUD Monthly
Engagement type:Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9:00AM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

The company is known for delivering high-quality workmanship, tailored customer experiences, and end-to-end project coordination, working closely with homeowners from consultation through to installation. With a strong reputation in the local market, the business continues to expand its operations and is focused on streamlining processes, improving customer experience, and supporting long-term growth.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a creative, proactive, and tech-savvy Marketing Specialist to support the business across digital marketing, content creation, campaign management, and customer engagement initiatives.
This is a hands-on marketing role best suited for someone who enjoys both creative execution and operational marketing support. The ideal candidate is highly comfortable using AI-powered tools, managing digital campaigns, and supporting ongoing marketing improvements across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage EDM/email marketing campaigns
- Support and manage paid Meta advertising campaigns (Facebook & Instagram Ads)
- Create engaging content for LinkedIn and other social media platforms
- Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT and Canva AI to improve workflow efficiency and content production
- Assist with website content updates and basic SEO improvements
- Support CRM management, lead tracking, and customer communication workflows
- Coordinate marketing campaigns and monitor campaign performance
- Create visual marketing assets and branded content using Canva or similar tools
- Assist with improving marketing systems, processes, and digital presence
- Communicate professionally with clients, leads, and stakeholders as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in digital marketing, content marketing, or campaign management
- Strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads/Facebook Ads Manager
- Proficient in Canva and AI-powered marketing tools such as ChatGPT and Canva AI
- Excellent written English and communication skills with minimal language barriers
- Familiarity with EDM platforms and email marketing best practices
- Experience with SEO, website content management, and CRM systems
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and initiative
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Experience in education, tourism, hospitality, outdoor recreation, or lifestyle brands is highly advantageous
