Program Manager, Localized Support, Digital Marketing

The general range for this full-time position is $62,000 - 90,000. Salary offers will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, skills, training and education.

Humane World for Animals, a global leader in animal advocacy and protection, is seeking a Program Manager, Localized Support for the Digital Marketing department. In this position you will assist the Director, Localized Support in identifying and executing campaigns to support the email marketing needs of the Country Offices and State Directors. You will work to provide strategic direction to Specialists to maximize the effectiveness of the Localized Support team in achieving advocacy and fundraising goals.

Responsibilities:

• Write, produce, review, and send emails and automations to help meet the organization’s localized advocacy, engagement, brand awareness, fundraising, and email communication needs. Additionally, manage, build, and edit emails and advocacy pages to accommodate requests from Country Offices and State Directors;
• Assist the Director, Localized Support with executing the email marketing process (define, create, test and measure) to meet local support goals related to fundraising, advocacy, events and engagement;
• Act as strategic lead to Specialists on the team. Monitor, delegate and respond to requests from State Directors and Country Offices while communicating throughout the process in JIRA;
• Train new and existing team members on processes, technology and email strategy;
• Acts as technical lead on the team, helping others troubleshoot issues with software;
• Update and maintain standard operation procedures for team members, to include but not limited to production manuals and templates;
• Liaise with other Digital Marketing staff on data collection, reporting and analysis to measure the results of localized campaigns;
• Stay up to date on new technologies, online communications systems and digital strategies;
• Assist Country Offices and State Directors as needed with technical and strategic issues pertaining to their email communications.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications or other relevant field or equivalent experience;
• At least three years' experience in digital marketing, with at least two years’ experience in email marketing;
• Experience with an international advocacy or non-profit organization highly desired;
• Excellent organizational, project and priority management skills for planning, executing and following up on issues, projects and daily responsibilities in order to meet established deadlines;
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive;
• Ability to operate independently to achieve goals and solve problems as the arise in the channel;
• Ability to balance strategic, creative, and analytical thinking in order to execute business objectives through a donor-centric lens;
• The ability to build/foster relationships by reinforcing trust and respect and demonstrating high standards of tact, diplomacy and discretion. Special focus on international cultural sensitivities;
• Knowledge of basic HTML and web design;
• Familiarity with using a Customer Relationship Management platform (Engaging Networks eCRM a plus);
• Strong writing, editing, problem-solving and interpersonal skills;
• Interest in animal protection and international issues desired.
