Tech Lead Fullstack Engineer (NodeJS/ReactJs)

About The Role

We are seeking an exceptional and seasoned Tech Lead Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic Technology team. This hybrid role requires deep expertise in both backend and frontend development, with a specific focus on Node.js and React.js. As a Tech Lead, you will not only be responsible for architecting and developing critical features but also for mentoring team members, setting technical standards, and driving the successful delivery of major projects.

You will be instrumental in scaling our platform, ensuring high performance, stability, and a world-class user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Architectural Design: Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable, available, and resilient fullstack applications and microservices using best practices.
• Technical Roadmap: Drive the technical strategy and roadmap for key product areas, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Code Quality & Standards: Define and enforce high coding standards, perform thorough code reviews, and champion best practices like TDD/BDD, clean code, and effective documentation.
• Performance: Proactively identify and resolve performance and scalability bottlenecks across the entire stack.

Fullstack Development

• Backend (Node.js): Design and implement robust, secure, and high-performance APIs and business logic using Node.js and associated frameworks (e.g., Express, NestJS). Manage database integrations (SQL/NoSQL) and caching layers.
• Frontend (React.js): Build modern, responsive, and highly usable interfaces using React.js and its ecosystem (e.g., Redux, Context API, Next.js). Ensure optimal rendering performance and cross-browser compatibility.
• DevOps: Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines, monitor application health, and manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Team & Collaboration

• Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality products.
• Project Delivery: Take ownership of project success, ensuring features are delivered on time, meeting quality standards, and aligning with the initial vision.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 7+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2+ years in a Technical Lead or Senior/Lead role.
• Proven track record of building and deploying complex, large-scale applications in a production environment.

Technical Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in Node.js and the ability to architect efficient and stable backend services.
• Expert-level proficiency in React.js and a deep understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• In-depth knowledge of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Alibaba, AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of software security principles and best practices.
