As we enter a huge new growth phase, our contributor-facing products need to level up in order to scale both vertically and horizontally.
In particular, this role will manage hardware and software products across sensors (including imagers and radios), mobile applications (sensor integration, contributor experience, edge compute), and web applications for customers and contributors alike (ML, CV, Sensor Fusion, 3D reconstruction, high performance graphics, etc.).
The Street-Level Imagery PM will work directly with our hardware partners on the R&D, manufacturing & supply chain, and global distribution of many thousands of sensor units in 2022. These sensors, and other commercially available sensors, integrate directly with our mobile applications, allowing us to streamline data transfer and unlock powerful edge compute solutions across sensor fusion, machine learning, and computer vision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive results and ensure high product quality
Develop new features and become an expert across street-level imagery, mapping, and blockchain.
Define and execute product roadmap and strategy, drive new business development, monitor and forecast product success
Empathize with our contributors and customers alike
Foster collaborative relationships with both internal and external parties
Ability to communicate effectively to all levels inside and outside the organization
REQUIREMENTS
Product management or technical experience in mapping, IoT, or autonomy/robotics
Ability to thrive working in a fast paced agile environment
Experience overseeing an entire product development lifecycle
Strong math and analytical skills
At least basic SQL chops and experience working with data reporting and dashboarding tools (e.g., Mode, Tableau, Looker, Kibana, etc.)
