Site Supervisor

Location:Sibu (workfrom home)

Salary:RM 3,000-RM5,000

Permanent/Contract: six months’ contract (renewable)

Benefit:lump-sum package (SSM)

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES / KEY RESULT AREA

• Supervising workers, subcontractors and workactivities.
• Responsible for organizing construction works on site,and report to upper management.
• Preparing and presenting site inductions, safetybriefings and toolbox talks.

·Assessing and managing safety hazards.

• Ensuring appropriate site rules and welfarefacilities are in place.

·Carrying out regular inspections.

• Helping project managers to plan the work programme.
• Helping co-ordinate delivers of materials, plant andequipment.

·Completing records for site reports.

·Attending site management meetings.

• Carrying our regular inspections to ensurecompliance with relevant legal requirements, processes and procedures.
• Raising safety concerns at the appropriate level.
• Resolving problems and implementing improvements.
• Organizing and overseeing external inspections, suchas with a health and safety inspector.
• Providing emergency first aid if required.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCES

• Relevant experience in Telecommunication Tower CivilEngineering and Tower Installation.

·A positive attitude.

• The ability to communicate with motivate, and ifnecessary, discipline the workforce.
• The ability to understand drawings and othercontract documents.
• A good understanding drawings and other contractdocuments.
• A good understanding of safety procedures.

·First aid training.

·Organization skills.

• The ability to mediate to resolve issues.
• An understanding of legal responsibilities.
• An understanding of welfare and environmentalissues.
• An understanding of occupational health andbehavioural safety issues.
