JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting Greystar’s financial reporting, forecasting, and performance management processes by preparing, analyzing, and interpreting financial data using Excel and Power BI. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining dashboards, preparing monthly financial reporting, participating in ad hoc analysis, creating & analyzing cash flow projections, and producing key performance indicators monthly. Working cross-functionally with other teams under the Financial Services umbrella, such as Treasury, Internal Audit, & Consolidated billing, this position ensures data integrity, identifies trends and variances, and translates complex financial information into clear insights that drive informed decision-making for the US Property Management organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is part of a collaborative Property Management Reporting team that works closely with stakeholders across finance and technology. It’s a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with enterprise tools while contributing to tangible process improvements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare various financial reports via Excel and Power BI on a monthly basis.

  • Create and develop Power BI workspaces, dashboards & apps that assist other teams in their financial analysis and decisions.

  • Prepare Cash Flow Projections monthly to assist in determining funding amounts and work directly with the treasury team to ensure data is as accurate as possible.

  • Create enhancements to the existing Excel and Power BI reports & dashboards in order to save time and increase adoption.

  • Prepare KPI’s monthly that show the overall health and help to drive informed decision making of the Financial Services & Property Management businesses.

  • Create surveys via Microsoft Forms and track responses from both internal and external clients.

  • Create process documentation around reporting and other duties being completed throughout the month.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Provide support on financial and administrative tasks, including ad hoc reporting & analysis.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Analytics, or related field

  • Strong Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced)

  • Working knowledge of Power BI for reporting and analysis (certification or practical experience)

  • Quantitative background that demonstrates analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • High standard of accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the capability to articulate complex topics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with one or more of the following systems:

  • ERP Systems: Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion) or E-Business Suite (EBS), or similar enterprise financial platforms

  • Reporting & Analytics: Power BI, Databricks, or other business intelligence platforms

  • Project Management: Asana or equivalent tools

  • CRM: Salesforce or other customer relationship management platforms

  • Experience in real estate, property management, or private equity environments

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
