(Senior) QA Test Engineer - Full Remote

We are urgently looking for a REMOTE Senior QA Test Engineerwith 6+ years of test experience with complex web application platforms for aninternational organization in New York. Candidates need to be fluent inEnglish. All positions are long-term. This position is open for freelancers andemployees.

Candidates need to be able to work +5 hours per day in thenormal office hours of New York, US. (Example 9 AM NY time equals 7:30 PM.)

Tasks and deliverables:

• Create test automation scripts from the ground up using anAutomated testing framework in several simultaneous projects;
  
• Responsible for developing, modifying, and executing testscripts and analyzing bugs;
  
• Perform automated and manual testing on a variety of webbrowsers and operating systems;
  
• Run various tests on new software products to ensure thatapplications satisfy all specifications and requirements;
  
• Record all defect details, creating and distributing reportsoutlining the types of defects found and the steps taken to resolve theseissues and update the regression test framework;
  
• Automate API testing using Postman and similar tools;
  
• Work closely with developers to recognize the potential forany operational issues, assess risks, and resolve issues proactively
  
• Maintain knowledgebase documentation in SharePoint
  
• All tasks will be assigned in a Kanban type process by theTechnical Lead, with progress being tracked in daily team meetings (morninghours EST time zone)
  
• Tasks will be considered completed after sign-off by thebusiness owner or Technical Lead;
  

Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree;
  
• 6+ years of experience as Test Engineer for complex webapplication platforms;
  
• Experience performing manual testing and executing scriptedtest cases;
  
• Experience with test automation;
  
• Experience with security testing, integration testing, APItesting, end-to-end testing, and load testing;
  
• Experience with Mobile application testing, browsercompatibility, and accessibility testing experience;
  
• Experience in identifying, analyzing, documenting, andreporting test results;
