Global Citizen seeks a Policy & Advocacy Lead for a 6-month contract to support the execution of global, regional, and country-specific campaigns, with a focus on ODA-related advocacy, global health, and related campaigns and events in Europe and globally.
Requirements
- Bachelors/ Masters Degree in development, economics, public health, international relations, or related fields.
- 4-7 years of Knowledge and experience with non-governmental organizations, governments, social impact, international institutions, United Nations agencies, and/ or non-profit organizations required
- Previous experience with policy work on development finance and related issues (climate finance, reform of the global financial system, taxation)
- Experience with project management
- Experience with data management, monitoring, and evaluation
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage projects with professionalism and discretion
- Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in English and Swedish. Additional languages would be an advantage
- Highly proficient in MS Office, Excel, Google Suite, Salesforce
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
