Junior Genomic Data Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Genomic Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trusted, and timely data for scientists. The role involves processing acquired genomic datasets, curating accompanying metadata, and orchestrating automated workflows. You will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of large-scale genetic and genomic datasets, utilising a combination of manual processing and existing automated protocols.

Requirements

• Experience in processing and managing large-scale genetic and genomic datasets
• Ability to work with diverse genomic data types including GWAS, eQTL, pQTL, burden tests, and individual-level data
• Strong programming skills and experience with third-party bioinformatic software, bespoke tools, and custom scripts
