Job Description Summary
The Industrial Services Operations Director for GE Vernova is responsible for driving operational performance and strategic initiatives across the business/function, achieving the business performance expectations across safety, quality, execution delivery and financial key metrics. This role will be responsible for developing and managing services personnel including Outage Managers (OMs) and Contract Fulfillment Managers (CFMs), implementing operations processes to ensure a high level of efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction. Essential Responsibilities:
Establish and sustain a robust operating rhythm across Outage Planning, Execution, and Closeout through Daily Management standard work that drives business performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) as measured through KPIs such as SOP and SOS.
Serve as a partner to the Segment Director to ensure strategic initiatives and the Lean roadmap are aligned with the long-term business strategy, while driving organizational focus and priority alignment across the team.
Drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering high levels of operational excellence and consistent execution.
Evaluate and redesign core processes through a Lean lens to improve efficiency, standardization, and scalability, with measurable impact on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Partner with the Outage Value Stream Transformation team to lead and support critical cross-functional initiatives, ensuring clear ownership, strong execution, and measurable results.
Own and drive SQDC performance metrics across the full outage lifecycle, including Planning, Execution, and Closeout, for the Industrial segment.
Review and provide guidance on detailed, resource-loaded schedules developed by the service team, establishing clear standards for schedule development and governance. Implement a structured review cadence for schedule templates and develop a continuous improvement process to enhance scheduling quality, consistency, and execution readiness.
Review Job Cost Estimates (JCEs), as needed, to ensure alignment with scope of work, schedules, division of responsibilities, and operational best practices; serve as a subject matter expert in JCE development and quality.
People Leader for approximately 3 Contract Fulfillment Managers and 6 Outage Managers (OMs)
Lead and support the development of competency standards, training programs, and training materials for Customer Service Managers, Outage Managers, and Customer Finance Managers to strengthen organizational capability and execution excellence.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (Engineering or STEM Preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of recent experience as GE/GEV Customer Service Manager with proven track record of results.
Eligibility Requirements
Ability and willingness to travel up to 20+% domestically and internationally to GE Vernova and customer locations (more if working remote).
The preferred work locations is the eastern half of the United States.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools
Additional cross-functional leadership experience in the areas of Finance, Project Management, Engineering and/or Quality is preferred
