Gannett is seeking an Affiliate Strategy Coordinator that supports commerce and affiliate revenue growth by coordinating day-to-day affiliate operations, tracking performance, and ensuring content and partnerships are optimized for revenue and audience engagement. This role sits at the intersection of business development, analytics and editorial. This role is about more than reports and spreadsheets. The Affiliate Strategy Coordinator will exercise judgment in translating data points into actionable insights. This is a hands-on data job, but it's just as important that you understand how the research relates to our customers’ buying behavior and shopping journeys across the USA Today Network. This role is remote and can be based anywhere in the US, except for Alaska and Hawaii.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Business Development team members, supply data, analyses, and reporting to inform their efforts to grow existing and identify new revenue streams.
- Integrate Social Media platform and Newsletter data with Affiliate Revenue and Audience data.
- Manage our native advertising efforts on USAToday.com (Taboola.)
- Regularly QA our affiliate platform data with our primary affiliate aggregation partner, Affiliate, to optimize revenue reporting.
- Assist with data collection and analysis of editorial content performance.
- Compile all revenue data from affiliate platforms to a central reporting tool.
- Manage final steps of our closed partner deals process with finance platforms.
- Partner with our Editorial team to identify and gain approval of merchants for CPC content creation.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years’ experience in affiliate marketing, digital publishing, or e-commerce.
- Experience with affiliate marketing/ecommerce data and KPI's strongly preferred.
- Intermediate experience with Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP's.)
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, preferably Looker and MSFT Power BI.
- Intermediate experience with Google Analytics.
- Experience with social media platform data (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok.)
- Interest in digital media, commerce, and consumer trends.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to think critically, work independently and strategically to solve business problems, interpret analyses and present solutions that address business needs.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $45,000 and $92,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
