Purpose of the Job – Overview

Job Title: IT Trainer

Location: Fully Remote

Must have a 2 to 3 Hours Backup, 22 to 24” Monitor with HDMI Cable, Table, Chair and Quite place to work.

Timings:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 6 PM BST

• Saturday: 10 AM to 3 PM BST

About the Role

Position Responsibilities:

• Training Delivery, Exam Preparation, Exam Review, Technical Support, Mock Test and Skill Assessment.
• Plan and develop IT Training courses across all disciplines within the Trust (ITF, A+, MS bootcamp, Cisco, and Firewalls training)
• Deliver IT Training across the Trust in line with departmental schedule.
• Ensure personal knowledge is up-to-date and relevant
• Provide exam preparation training/guidelines to all students
• Conduct mock test
• Research and resolve M365 Training & Support issues.
• Conduct lab support sessions and resolve student issues regarding the Labs
• Assist students for exam booking and other certifications
• Help with training for new employees.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Trainer, CISCO, etc.) are a plus.
• Proven experience as an IT Trainer, IT Specialist, or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and engage diverse audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and patience in dealing with technical issues.
• Familiarity with various training methods and platforms, including e-learning.
