THE POSITION:

The Senior Strategist, Market Access Strategy plays a key role in developing insight-driven payer strategies and translating them into high-impact value communications that support access, coverage, and adoption. The Senior Strategist is a shared services role across multiple teams and brands, responsible for developing strategies and initiatives that optimize market access and reimbursement across the healthcare ecosystem. This individual partners cross-functionally with account, medical, and creative teams to deliver strategic recommendations for communication resources across the product lifecycle – from pre-launch through loss of exclusivity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Senior Strategist, Market Access Strategy will be tasked with delivering excellent business results. These results are achieved by:

  • Develop and shape market access strategies, including payer value narratives, coverage and reimbursement approaches, and customer engagement plans
  • Translate clinical, economic, customer, and market insights into clear, compelling payer communications (e.g., PVPs, PIE materials, toolkits, microsites)
  • Support strategic planning across key stakeholders (payers, IDNs, employers, PBMs, HCPs/office staff, patients) with a focus on access, affordability, and pull-through
  • Lead portions of client engagements, asking critical questions and contributing to strategic thinking, deliverable development, and presentation of recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Eversana InTouch (account, medical, creative) to ensure alignment from strategy through execution
  • Collaborate with broader Eversana teams (i.e. Eversana Management Consulting, Value & Evidence, Data & Analytics) as needed based on client needs
  • Monitor market dynamics, policy changes, and competitive landscape to inform recommendations
  • Participate in primary market research (IDIs, surveys, advisory boards) to ensure the necessary insights are garnered

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • 5–8+ years of experience in market access agency
  • Strong understanding of US payer landscape, reimbursement, and access dynamics
  • Ability to synthesize complex clinical and economic data into actionable insights and clear messaging
  • Proven experience developing strategic deliverables and client-facing materials
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving
  • Ability to manage major clients and brands
  • Strong writing, communications, and presentation skills
  • Ability to problem solve and work within a team environment
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically, execute on projects, multitask, and meet challenging deadlines
  • Highly self-motivated and self-driven independent thinker
  • Capable of presenting information to groups via live presentation or teleconference.
  • Able to interpret and understand outputs of analytic and economic models.
  • Able to work independently or within a team setting
  • Able to manage multiple projects with competing timelines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or more advanced degree in a science-, business-, or healthcare-related discipline preferred (or extensive related work experience/history)
  • Developed network of contacts/relationships with market access and healthcare-related KOLs and executives from which to leverage in future research initiatives
  • Advanced level of proficiencies in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Past experience sourcing pharmacy policies, medical policies, formulary data (and various statuses), prescription/performance data sources
