Adult Learning Tutor – Digital Skills

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a passionate and creative Digital Skills tutor to teach adults in Leicestershire, UK. The successful candidate will have a nationally approved teaching qualification and experience in teaching, learning, and training or an active engagement with a subject/skill specialism.

Requirements

• A nationally approved teaching qualification at a minimum of Level 3
• Recent involvement in teaching, learning and training or an active engagement with a subject/skill specialism
• Good functional skills (to at least NVQ Level 2 or above in Maths, English and ICT)
• Application of assessment, review and evaluation of learning
• Flexibility to travel to different centres around the county during the daytime or in the evening as required
• Ability to use relevant teaching materials and techniques to support learning, including the use of e-learning technology and the use of different educational platforms
