The Director of Revenue Recognition is a key member of the CFO’s leadership team, responsible for overseeing the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of the Company’s revenue reporting—both internal and external—and ensuring adherence to GAAP, regulatory requirements, and Joint Venture (JV) requirements. The ideal candidate is a proactive, analytical, and collaborative leader with deep technical expertise in revenue recognition, strong business acumen, and a solid understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations and managed care arrangements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; Master’s degree preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Minimum 9 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role
- Advanced proficiency in data modeling and analytical design, with the ability to build, evaluate, and optimize revenue‐related models
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong decision‐making and problem‐solving skills
- Deep technical accounting expertise with the ability to apply guidance to complex scenarios
- Ability to communicate complex accounting issues clearly and effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks while maintaining attention to detail
