Senior System & Server

INTRODUCTION

The incumbent is accountable for installs, configures, test operating systems, application software, virtualization, system maintenance tool customer infrastructure (Banking and MFI) and wide area networks to ensure network devices are at the latest or advanced stage of development, innovation and pioneering in cutting-edge network technology and monitoring the issue.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY

• Providing Support and Implementation for the following areas:
• Microsoft-related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, Office 365, SQL, Active Directory, System Center and HyperV
• Virtualization technologies: Citrix and Microsoft
• Remote access & desktop virtualization: Microsoft RDS/VDI, Citrix VDI
• Monitoring and Management of system alerts and notifications: Microsoft System Center
• Working with the Sales Team to engineer projects, identify new products and solutions, and research solutions for existing clients

• Building Project Plans
• Project Delivery
• Project Quality Assurance
• Writing & Reviewing projects documentation
• Communicating with customers as required: keeping them informed of project/incident progress, notifying them of changes or downtime
• Being available for other engineers and coaching them to resolution
• Other tasks assign by direct manager.

QAULIFICATION-REQUIREMENT 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or other relevant filed.
• Certify cisco certificate (CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, etc.) and experience of FortiGate Firewall.
• 3 years’ experience of installation, configuration of firewall, network.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP communications and how common protocols and applications work at the network level, including DNS, HTTP.
• Hyper-V, Veritas or Veem
• SQL infrastructure
• RDS / Terminal Services
• Active Directory / Group Policies
• Exchange Server 2003 – 2016 & Office365
• Backup solution
• Scripting / Programming
• Solid understanding of computer network fundamentals including address resolution protocol (ARP), routing, network address translation, virtual private networks, and the OSI model
• Fluent in English both spoken and written is mandatory.
• Willing to learn, fast leaner, flexibility, self-motivate and “Can do” attitude.
• Be able to work with under pressure environment.
