English Instructor

Job Responsibilities:

• The English language teacher(s) is responsible for teaching English to students whose native or primary language is not English and to facilitate the effective learning of English in order to enable students to communicate effectively.
• The English language teacher(s) works with students to ensure they are able to obtain both spoken and written skills of the English Language.
• The aim is to improve students conversational English to prepare them for the examinations that provide entry to the culinary program and to use English in their future workplace.

The functions of the English Teacher are as follows:

• Teaching English language to second language students and able to conveying information to students in an interesting way and communicating a love and passion for the English Language
• Properly manage the classroom by creating a conducive classroom environment making use of a wide range of course books, other materials and variety of audio-visual aids. A strong emphasis should be placed on dialogue and role-playing, but more formal exercises, language games and literature are also used.
• Planning, preparing and delivering English lesson plans
• Designing and producing teaching materials and adapting existing materials, and the aim of these materials is by making each lesson encouraging the students to communicate with each other using structures and vocabulary they haven't learnt, and to improve the four basic language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Assessing students' progress by recognizing the different ability of students and to create a lesson content that varies

Job Requirements:

• BA in English literature or similarMinimum 2 years experienced in teaching English
  Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply
• Good command of the English language spoken and written, communication: interaction among teachers, students and working environment, professional body language as well as using tools and technical equipment for reaching and transferring the knowledge required
• Good Motivator, ability to deal with criticism, methodical
• Good knowledge in using Microsoft office program
• English Cambridge Level
