We are looking for a competent Billing Specialist to undertake a variety of financial and non-financial tasks in order to help guarantee the partner’s revenues. You will handle the processing of incoming payments along with the issuing of necessary paperwork. The role will also perform many accounting tasks, organizational tasks, and customer service to promote the organization’s financial health.
What you’ll be doing:
- Reviewing signed contracts for accuracy in our Salesforce CRM tool.
- Creating processing quotes for automated upsells/renewals.
- Entering data into and updating customer billing accounts.
- Responding to customer inquiries in our ticketing system, Zendesk, with great customer service.
- Completing weekly reviews of our contracts and invoices.
- Collaborating with other members of the billing team as well as with our Sales and Support teams.
- Assist with special projects, billings, collection, and ad hoc analysis as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Required:
- Previous billing experience
- Previous experience in reviewing contracts
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Knowledge of using MS Excel or Google Sheets
- Can work independently and effectively communicate the status of tasks to managers
Nice to have:
- Experience with Salesforce CRM.
- Experience in inputting revenue recognition dates for billing line items.
- Experience with using a ticketing system similar to Zendesk.
- Experience with collections.
