About the Role
This is a varied, fast-paced role that combines logistics coordination, customer service, sales support, and admin. You'll be the first point of contact for customers, manage bookings from end to end, assist with outreach, and work closely with the owner to support pricing strategies and rate management.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Communication & Support- Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls and emails
- Provide exceptional service and problem-solving support to both new and existing customers
- Keep customers updated on job statuses, delays, or changes proactively
- Build long-term relationships by offering reliable, helpful, and friendly service
Job Booking & Coordination- Enter and manage job bookings in our logistics system with precision
- Liaise with drivers, partners, and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries
- Track and monitor job progress and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Sales & Outreach- Conduct follow-up calls on quotes and past jobs to convert leads
- Reach out to potential clients and repeat customers to generate new business
- Assist with quote preparation and sales admin tasks
- Identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities and flag to the owner or sales team
Admin & Operational Support- Manage data entry, document organisation, and CRM updates
- Prepare daily run sheets and assist in coordinating schedules
- Handle invoicing and paperwork as required

Collaboration with Management- Work closely with the owner to determine customer pricing and freight rates
- Provide input on rate competitiveness, job margins, and service value
- Help implement pricing strategies and adjust rates as needed
About You- Strong communication skills—confident on the phone and clear in emails
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisation and follow-through
- Comfortable with logistics or admin software (training provided)
- Proactive mindset and a willingness to take initiative
- Team player who enjoys working in a small, close-knit team
- Previous experience in logistics, freight, transport, or admin is ideal
- Bonus points if you’ve worked in a customer-facing role or supported sales
