Linux System Administrator (REF4429D)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Linux System Administrator to join our growing team! If you're passionate about Linux systems, automation, and continuous learning, we’d love to hear from you.

Tasks:

• Providing OS support for Linux machines
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of Linux-based infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect Linux systems from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Automate system administrative tasks
• Handling incident tickets
• Clarifying and implementing change tickets
• Processing orders (machine deployment or extension, user creation, etc.)
• Work with other internal teams

• 1-3 years of proven experience as a Linux administrator
• RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) – at least intermediate knowledge
• BASH scripting – at least intermediate
• Package management – experience with YUM and RPM
• Network management – solid understanding of IP configuration, routing, and local firewalls
• User and group management, including SSH key handling
• Configuration management – basic experience with Ansible
• Automation tools – at least a basic understanding from an admin perspective
• Basic experience with YAML and Jinja
• English – capable of communicating effectively in a professional setting

Nice to have/preferred skills and experience (not required)

• German – communication-level proficiency
• Knowledge of Python or similar programming languages
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Any RHEL certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, etc.)
• Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) certification at any level
