We are looking to addanArea Vice Presidentto our team!

LOCATION:Remote

REPORTS TO:Vice President Of Operations

TRAVEL :Required travel 80%+, including overnight

PAY : $140K - $160 K/ annually + Bonus

CORE RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Lives and models the mission, vision, culture, and policies of Destination Pet within yourself and your team.

  • Ensurethat all centers provide top quality care for our guests, including the delivery of exceptional customer service that focuses on integrated, personalized, and connected care with efficient and productive teams.

  • Continuallymonitorthe day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives that driverevenuewithin the assigned area.

  • Leads center/practice growth plans and MBR’s with District Directors

  • Analyzes andutilizesfinancial reports and statistics from each district, such asprofit & loss statements and other Key Performance Indicators

  • Celebrateachievements andidentifyrevenue growth opportunities.

  • Analyzes and delivers the results of the operational processes that directlyimpactthe

success of their assigned centers.

  • Oversee the district team toidentifyand executeadditionalrevenue driving initiatives.

  • Ensurecompletion of yearly inventory.

  • Properly reinforces all Destination Pet’s training,safetyand service programs.

  • Ensure center compliance with federal and local labor laws: DEA, EEOC, ADA, Fair

  • Labor Practices, radiation safety, OSHA, HAZMAT, etc.

  • Implement a one-on-one cadence for individual growth plans and management

development opportunities.

  • In partnership with center/practice management and safety leadership tomonitorandassistwith all safety, emergency, and crisis situations. Cultivate a pervasive culture ofsafety, instilling a mindset of vigilance and care among all team members.

  • Embrace and execute anyadditionalresponsibilities as needed by the organization's

evolving needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

Expertise & Experience:

  • Must be a pet fanatic – pets are part of our family!

  • Demonstratedflexibility in scheduling, including availability during evenings and weekends to serve as emergency on call support.

  • Exceptional leadership and organizational acumen.

  • Proficiencyinarticulatingverbal and written communication skills.

  • A passionate affinity for animals, exuding an enthusiastic and caring demeanor, with impeccable attention to detail

  • Proficiencyin computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite and database applications.

  • Proficiencyin task prioritization and delegation as dictated by specific circumstances.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Experience in problem-solving, exercising sound judgment,maintainingconfidentialityand the ability to interact professionally and effectively with co-workers, clients, and the public.

  • 5+ years of management experience in a multi-unit environment within the pet and vet industry

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Physical:

  • Mustfrequentlylift 40 pounds.

  • Must be able to handle frequent sitting,standingand walking

  • Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animaldanderand excretions.
