The Senior Legal Analyst supports the Legal Department by assisting attorneys with complex legal matters related to insurance and healthcare, including legal research, contract review, and operational guidance.
Requirements
- Provide legal support, analysis, and insight to attorneys
- Manage time-sensitive projects such as legal research, contract review, and legislative monitoring
- Serve as liaison to outside counsel, coordinating documents, communications, and knowledge-sharing
- Research statutes, regulations, and case law to identify requirements and issues
- Manage key Legal Department processes, including RFPs, contract review, client guidance, and internal knowledge management/education initiatives
- Develop and oversee document production, tracking, and review systems for complex contracts
- Recommend and implement process improvements and best practices in case management, document production, and review
- Independently manage routine legal tasks and provide regular status updates to attorneys and other stakeholders
- Act as the initial point of escalation for significant issues raised by legal staff
