Sr. Middleware Systems Administrator

Our client is seeking a Middleware Systems Administrator. They will be responsible for the design, deployment, configuration and operational support of enterprise middleware platforms and application infrastructure.

Requirements

• WebSphere Application Server Management
• Full installation, configuration, and administration of Network Deployment and Base editions
• Design and implementation of high-availability architectures (clustering, load balancing, failover)
• Enterprise repository management for WebSphere and IHS binaries
• Performance tuning, troubleshooting, and version migration strategies
• Containerization & Liberty Expertise
• Deployment and maintenance of WebSphere Liberty on traditional VMs
• Support for containerized Liberty implementations using Podman
• Orchestration of Liberty workloads in OpenShift Container Platform
• Server configuration customization for diverse application requirements
