Implementation Consultant - Data

Location: Remote (RO + Serbia)
Contract Type: Freelance SRL or PFA/1-year contract
Travel: Occasional business trip (approx. 2 weeks)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant Data to join Procentia, an award-winning pensions technology company. In this role, you will take ownership of client data migrations into the IntelliPen platform, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and seamless delivery. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to design migration strategies, configure system functionality, and support successful onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of data migration solutions, including data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation.

• Develop automated migration scripts using T-SQL and related database tools.

• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and configure the IntelliPen platform accordingly.

• Maintain and optimise database performance, including troubleshooting and resolving data issues.

• Document migration processes and provide client support, knowledge transfer, and user training as required.

• Ensure data integrity and compliance throughout all phases of the migration lifecycle.

Essential Skills Experience

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end data migration projects, ideally within pensions or financial services.

• Strong proficiency in SQL / T-SQL, database design, XML structures, and data manipulation techniques.

• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data cleansing, reconciliation, and quality assurance.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of UK pensions administration, including DB/DC calculations.

• Experience with IntelliPen or similar pension administration systems.

• Familiarity with Azure SQL, ETL tools, or additional programming languages.
