The selected intern will report to our Senior Communications Manager and work under the guidance of the communications team members and other program areas. The intern will support the administration and production of the organization's key publications, including the quarterly magazine, monthly e-newsletters, social media content, website posts, and reports.
Requirements
- Self-driven and independent
- Resourceful and reliable
- Strong writing skills
- Prior experience/curiosity to learn about Indigenous Peoples' rights and cultural practices
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in Spanish and any Indigenous language is highly desirable
- Knowledge of additional languages, including Portuguese or French is considered an asset
