JOB SUMMARY:

Part-time/PRN Project Manager - must have RHIT or RHIA

Flexible hours M-F- 20 hours per week - fully remote

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Project Manager provides organization of client projects through the coordination and completion of projects on time and within scope. The Project Manager oversees all aspects of projects such as establishing deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor, and summarize progress of project. Assist in preparing reports for clients and upper management. Interacts with a diverse group of clients as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload, recommends opportunities for improvement in departmental practices and procedures. Experience in coding services both domestically and globally.

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.

  • Assist in maintaining Salesforce updates on projects and/or auditing.

  • Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven working experience in project management.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple, inter-disciplinary projects as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives.
  • High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters, and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.
  • High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.
  • Excellent professional communication and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and other applications as needed.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with administrative procedures
  • Must be flexible with schedule and availability.
  • Effective communication skills both in written and verbal presentation with a communication style that is open and foster trust, credibility and understanding.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Note: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions as described. Regular eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity is required to operate office equipment. The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with constant interruptions is required. At times, Team Members are subject to sitting for prolonged periods. Infrequently, Team Member must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs. Team Member may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.
