The Software Consultant - Modernization is a pivotal member of the ConnectWise post-sale organization, responsible for leading targeted, high-impact engagements with complex partners to drive the transformation of partners’ legacy solutions and services to the modern ConnectWise platform.
Requirements
- Lead technical engagements with high-value partners to support migration from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms.
- Conduct migration readiness assessments and provide expert guidance throughout the end-to-end migration lifecycle to ensure smooth transitions to cloud environments.
- Facilitate and deliver migration sessions, providing hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and remediation during partner transitions to cloud solutions.
- Identify, manage, and resolve technical and operational issues during migration to minimize disruption and drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate migration progress, operational plans, risks, and outcomes to leadership and key stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Capture partner feedback and operational insights and collaborate with product and process teams to improve tooling, workflows, and best practices.
- Deliver technical training, system configuration, and troubleshooting through webinars, onsite engagements, and remote sessions to enable successful cloud adoption.
- Develop and maintain concise solution documents and user guides for migration projects, documenting partner interactions and project outcomes to support scalable cloud migrations.
- Validate defects, resolve technical issues, and support custom engagements, providing clear documentation and structured communication.
- Manage multiple concurrent migration initiatives, balancing priorities while maintaining accurate project documentation and stakeholder communication.
- Support project management activities to ensure successful coordination and delivery of cloud migration engagements.
- Ensure high partner satisfaction by consistently delivering high-quality experiences and maintaining strong customer feedback and survey results.
