Our relentless pursuit of technological breakthroughs has positioned us as a global leader, constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in network connectivity. Our diverse team of over 20,000 innovators and technologists are dedicated to redefining connectivity, tackling today's complex challenges, and engineering the innovations that will shape the future of communication.

CommScope's history is one of pioneering spirit and continuous innovation. Founded in 1976 by Frank M. Drendel and Jearld Leonhardt, the company emerged from a bold vision to transform the nascent cable television industry. From its origins as a product line of Superior Continental Cable, CommScope has consistently evolved, anticipating and shaping the trajectory of network technology. Key milestones include our instrumental role in enabling the first live broadcasts of U.S. Congressional proceedings via C-SPAN by donating crucial fiber optics technology. Over the decades, strategic acquisitions, such as Avaya's Connectivity Solutions, Andrew Corporation, TE Connectivity's Broadband Network Solutions, and ARRIS International (including Ruckus Networks), have significantly expanded our capabilities and market reach, solidifying our position as an industry powerhouse. These transformative moves have allowed us to offer an unparalleled portfolio of solutions, from the SYSTIMAX enterprise cabling systems to advanced wireless infrastructure and broadband network technologies. Today, with a vast portfolio of over 15,000 global patents and patent applications, CommScope continues to be a pivotal partner in enabling communications for a significant portion of the world's population, consistently delivering solutions that make networks easier to design, faster to deploy, and more efficient to operate.
