The Sustainability and HSSE Analyst will support the delivery of comprehensive energy management services, maintain required training and competency, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. The role will also involve identifying and supporting potential renewable energy projects, assisting in identifying internal and external factors impacting energy consumption, and supporting energy supply, demand, monitoring, and reporting programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Occupational Health and Safety, or related technical field (Science, Engineering, Mathematics)
- Professional safety certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) preferred
- Environmental management certification (ISO 14001 Lead Auditor) advantageous
- Relevant energy management certifications or experience preferred (e.g., Certified Energy Manager, ISO 50001 Lead Auditor, LEED AP, CEM)
- Japanese statutory safety qualifications (Health Officer, Fire Defense Manager, or similar) preferred
- First Aid, CPR, and AED training certification required
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in energy management, sustainability operations, HSSE coordination, or related field
- Experience supporting energy or sustainability programs in commercial or corporate environments with multinational corporate HSSE programs preferred
