Job Description: The Litigation Coordinator plays a vital role in managing administrative aspects of legal and post-charge off recoveries. This role supports post-charge off and legal collector teams by organizing and managing modification processes, ensuring smooth and efficient review, approval and execution of agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the litigation lifecycle, including post-judgment procedures and remedies.
  • Payoff Processing & Outside Counsel Negotiations: Partnering with outside counsel to structure payment arrangements and negotiate payoffs with high degrees of complexity and risk mitigation.
  • Client-Facing Responsibilities: Engaging regularly with clients to ensure seamless communication, accuracy, and SLA compliance.
  • Technical Execution: Navigating intricate workflows, setting up and maintaining payment plans, and ensuring the proper execution of legal documentation in system environments.
  • Litigation Strategy Management: Reviewing and managing contested litigation, a high-risk and high-impact area requiring legal insight and analytical precision.
Day to Day:
  • Work Outside counsel and In-House Legal modification requests submitted by account executives
  • Liaison between account executives and clients:
oUnderstands the settlement matrix
oCommunicates modification requests to the client for review and approval
oShare counteroffers with account executives
oUpdate progress in LMS and Collect Logic Systems
  • Liaison between collectors, outside counsel, and in-house counsel
oCommunicate modification terms to counsel
o Request modification document drafts when applicable
oReview documents received from counsel for accuracy and work with attorneys to resolve any discrepancies or issues
o Coordinate to ensure deadlines are met
  • Work with the client to:
o Request payment histories
o Set up payment plans
  • Document handling:
o Prepare agreement documents
o Review executed documents to ensure accurate completion
o Send documents for execution to the client and borrowers
o Save documents in LMS and Collect Logic Systems
o Create proposed terms using TValue
o Generate SPV AM schedules
oSet up payment plans in the Collect Logic Systems
oSet up Payment Method in Service Logic
  • Monitor agreements progress in both legal queues

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Skills:
  • High level of accuracy and thoroughness in handling litigation agreements
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Technical proficiency in CMS, Microsoft office suite, Tvalue
