United States onlyV-Soft Consulting is hiring a Sr. COBOL CICS Developer for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have experience with COBOL CICS, ADABAS database, and troubleshooting complex systems in a Linux environment.
Requirements
- Enterprise System Programming experience in COBOL CICS utilizing ADABAS database
- Experience with troubleshooting complex SNAP and TANF eligibility determination systems in a Linux environment
- Ability to create new screens and functionality to integrate with legacy system
- Experience with automated eligibility determination systems specifically SNAP and TANF eligibility
- Ability to provide subject matter expertise on Mainframe CICS system architectures
- Ability to provide recommendations regarding enhancements to the systems and processes
- Experience developing, maintaining, and updating documentation for procedures, policies, and processes
- Knowledge of SNAP and TANF eligibility and economic assistance policies and procedures
- Experience interpreting, designing and implementing federal and state mandates in Linux systems
