The Opportunity
We are hiring our first dedicated Educational Sales Consultant to take ownership of our high-volume, inbound pipeline. Historically, our senior Educational Consultants have managed the sales process. As our business scales, we need an experienced sales professional to close inbound leads so our experts can focus entirely on delivering world-class client results.
This is not a cold-calling role. The phone rings consistently, and during our peak season (August–December), we generate an overwhelming amount of inbound interest, ensuring a deep, continuous pipeline of warm leads for our team. We need a closer who can build immediate trust, navigate complex family dynamics, and effectively articulate the value of our high-ticket mentoring, test prep, tutoring, and admissions services.
What You Will Do
- Manage Inbound Sales: Own the sales cycle for our primary services (Tutoring, Test Prep, and Private School and College Admissions) with ticket values typically ranging from $4,000 to $50,000+.
- CRM and Pipeline Management: Execute the current sales process while bringing your expertise to refine and elevate our systems. Utilize Salesforce to mine existing leads and maximize our exceptional lifetime customer value (LTV).
- Client Advising: Act as the initial guide for families, diagnosing their specific educational needs and recommending the appropriate level of service (from standard tutoring to elite coaching).
- Cross-Selling & Expansion: Leverage our long-term client relationships to cross-sell multiple services across a family's 7-8 year journey with Cardinal Education.

- An Educational Insider: You have strong experience in education sales, admissions counseling, EdTech, or any adjacent industry. You understand the nuances of the industry and don't need to be trained on the basics of high-stakes academic metrics.
- A Consultative Closer: You excel at high-ticket sales and know how to build credibility and trust quickly with an affluent, demanding clientele.
- A Team Player and a Relationship Builder: You are looking for a long-term home to build your career. You understand that in high-stakes education, long-term client success and team collaboration matter far more than just chasing the next quick close.
- Systems Oriented: You are comfortable working within CRM systems (like Salesforce) to manage a heavy flow of leads and track pipeline velocity.
