FBS Treasury Associate

This role is going to contribute the daily treasury operations, contributes to accurate cash and other reporting, and assists with other treasury activities.

Requirements

Role Description:

1. Stat Dep Replacements
1. Complete all required functions to meet compliance requirements by replacing securities on deposit with state departments of insurance. Email and verbal communication, attention to detail & organization are required.
2. Stat Dep Reconciliation
1. Complete periodic (at least monthly) reconciliation of deposits between custodian(s) and back-office investment accounting and resolve open items.
3. Stat Dep Income
1. Identify and recover all income received by custodian.
4. Stat Dep Reporting
1. Fulfill all reporting to remain in compliance with regulatory, audit & financial requirements.
5. Invoice processing
1. Download bank fee invoices
2. Process bank fee invoices
6. Bank fee analysis
7. Treasury mail admin
8. Treasury email box admin
9. Preparation of the daily cash positioning
1. Monitoring bank files and jobs
10. Bank portal maintenance
1. Administer users and entitlements on bank portals.

Other Critical Skills

Ability to quickly understand complex financial transactions - Intermediate
Knowledge of the banking industry and technical knowledge of bank products - Intermediate

Financial accounting - Entry Level

Ability to apply finance and treasury principles - Intermediate

Software / Tool Skills
