United States onlyWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Workload Automation Engineer with a strong focus on automating complex file‐processing workflows. The role involves designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions for file ingestion, transformation, validation, and distribution using a combination of traditional scripting tools and AWS automation services.
Requirements
- Design, develop, test, and implement automated workflows for file‐processing tasks using Bash, PowerShell,.BAT scripting, as well as AWS Step Functions, Lambda, and EventBridge
- Integrate both script‐driven and AWS‐based components into the enterprise workload automation scheduler
- Analyze existing manual or semi‐automated file‐processing procedures and identify opportunities for automation
- Develop and maintain documentation for automated workflows
- Monitor automated file‐processing jobs and proactively identify and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with application teams, system administrators, and business stakeholders to understand file‐processing requirements and dependencies
- Implement robust error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms within both scripts and AWS‐orchestrated processes
- Ensure adherence to security best practices for scripting, file handling, AWS IAM permissions, and access control
