Role Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Systems Implementation Manager to lead the implementation of new platforms and processes directly related to the operations of our firm. This role is critical to ensuring seamless technology transitions and ongoing optimization across the firm. This role will also provide strategic leadership and direction for the Salesforce team, overseeing both project execution and the professional development of team members. ---
Key Responsibilities:
Software Implementation
- Lead the full lifecycle of software implementations, from planning and vendor coordination to deployment and post-launch support
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define timelines, and ensure alignment with business goals
- Manage cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver on project milestones
- Identify implementation risks early and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve escalated issues with urgency and precision
Project Management
- Coordinate with the Project Management Office to set timelines, budgets, and resources using firm tools (Monday) and standardized templates and workflows.
- Translate business requirements into scalable workflows and system configurations that improve operational efficiency
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Tax, Audit, and Consulting to ensure alignment and adoption.
- Lead the execution of Salesforce-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with director-level and senior leadership to align on priorities, timelines, and requirements
- Drive adoption through training, documentation, and communication plans. Act as a change agent to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Manage, support, and provide strategic oversight for the Salesforce team by delivering regular feedback, facilitating growth planning, and aligning team initiatives with organizational goals
- Facilitate communication between the Salesforce team and other departments to optimize platform usage and integration.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in project management and system implementation, preferably within accounting or professional services firms
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday), CRM platforms (Salesforce), and accounting workflows
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors
- Large-scale software implementation experience
- Demonstrated capability in constructively questioning established practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with accounting industry tech stacks and practices.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring a team
- Working knowledge of Salesforce as a data source and CRM platform
