Overview

Bio-Rad is seeking a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) SAP Business Systems Analyst to support our global operations. This role is responsible for designing, configuring, documenting, and implementing SAP features that support new product introduction (NPI) and product lifecycle processes. Areas of focus include change management, document management, labeling, and Dangerous Goods compliance. This role will interface with the broader PLM ecosystem, including Bartender for label management, Solidworks for mechanical design, and Altium for electronic design, ensuring seamless data integration and collaboration across R&D and manufacturing functions. The analyst will act as a key liaison between business users and technical teams, translating business needs into effective SAP solutions. Additionally, this role will serve as the primary contact for project management related to business systems initiatives within the PLM domain.

How the Candidate Will Make an Impact

-Lead the Design and Optimization of SAP PLM Processes

  • Take ownership of designing and configuring SAP PLM solutions that streamline key lifecycle processes such as new product introduction (NPI), change control, and document management. Your expertise will directly enhance product development efficiency and time-to-market.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration Across R&D, Supply Chain, and EHS Act as a strategic partner to global teams by aligning diverse stakeholder requirements into cohesive, scalable SAP solutions—especially in complex areas like labeling and Dangerous Goods compliance.
  • Own and Evolve Change Management and Document Control in SAP PLM Lead efforts to configure and support robust change management and document control processes within SAP. Your contributions will ensure product data accuracy, audit readiness, and full lifecycle traceability, which are foundational to compliant and efficient operations.
  • Translate Business Needs into Scalable SAP Solutions Serve as the key translator between business requirements and technical implementation. By effectively gathering, analyzing, and converting requirements into functional specs, you will shape solutions that are both technically sound and business-aligned.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement and User Adoption Identify areas for process improvement, lead testing and validation efforts, and deliver user training and documentation. Your influence will extend beyond system implementation—impacting adoption, usability, and long-term system value.

What the Candidate Brings

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Computer Science, Life Science, Management Information Systems or other relevant field.
  • Work Experience: Five or more years supporting and configuring SAP PLM modules
  • Hands-on experience with SAP PLM modules and integration with related systems (e.g., ERP, Document Management, or Product Data Management tools), including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, cross-functional environment, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting project deadlines.
