Biblical Counselor (Remote)
About BetterFaith
BetterFaith is an online Christian discipleship and pastoral care platform committed to helping individuals grow in spiritual maturity and faithfulness to Jesus Christ. We connect seekers with trained leaders who provide structured, Scripture-grounded care within clearly defined ethical and professional boundaries.
Position Summary
Biblical counseling at BetterFaith is Gospel-centered, Scripture-supported care that aims to edify and equip believers during hardship or hurt. We walk with people through real struggles and complex seasons by bringing their questions, pressures, and patterns into the light of God’s Word and His character. Sessions are focused on understanding how the character of God and the truth of the Gospel speak into what each person is facing, so they can interpret their situation with clarity, find hope or grace, and obtain practical, discernible next steps where applicable.
BetterFaith is seeking master’s-level Biblical Counselors to provide structured, non-clinical biblical counseling in an online setting. This role serves individuals facing real-life issues like relational conflict, entrenched patterns of sin, emotional distress, doubt, and even major life transitions. Counselors are asked to provide steady, biblically grounded care marked by theological clarity, pastoral wisdom, and sound judgment.
Biblical counseling at BetterFaith is not clinical therapy and does not diagnose or treat mental illness. We respect psychology and the realities of emotional and mental suffering, and we encourage licensed mental health care when appropriate. Our focus is spiritual care - helping people understand who God is, who they are before Him, and how the gospel speaks with hope and clarity into the complexities of everyday life.
